Post to Social Media from Perplexity

Connect LazyRelay's hosted MCP server to Perplexity and schedule, check, and verify social posts from a conversation.

What you can ask Perplexity

The part most AI-agent schedulers skip

Most integrations stop at the API call — Perplexity asks for a post, the API says 200 OK, and that's treated as done. It isn't. Rate limits, silent moderation holds, and platform-side failures can all eat a "successful" request. LazyRelay's list_scheduled_posts tool returns real Proof-of-Publish status, so you can ask Perplexity to check whether a post actually went live, not just whether the request was accepted.

Setup

  1. In Perplexity, go to Settings → Connectors → + Custom Connector → Remote, give it a name, and paste in this MCP Server URL:

    https://lazyrelaylazyrelay-backend.onrender.com/mcp

  2. Choose OAuth 2.0 as the authentication method, acknowledge the risk notice, and add the connector. You'll be asked to sign in — use your LazyRelay account.

Custom remote connectors are available on Perplexity Pro and Enterprise plans; they're not on the free tier. On an Enterprise workspace, an admin can also share the connector organization-wide instead of everyone adding it individually. Full tool reference (list_connected_accounts, list_workspaces, schedule_post, publish_post_now, update_post, list_scheduled_posts, delete_scheduled_post, get_analytics_summary, get_mentions) at lazyrelay.com/docs.

Don't have a LazyRelay account yet? MCP access works on every plan, including Free — no upgrade needed.
