LazyRelay vs Ayrshare
Ayrshare is an API-first service for posting to social networks from your own software. Here's an honest look at where it and LazyRelay actually differ.
Where Ayrshare is genuinely ahead
Ayrshare is built for developers who want to put social posting inside their own product, and it covers networks LazyRelay doesn't: X, Reddit, Snapchat, WhatsApp and Google Business Profile are all on its list of 14 networks. Its Launch and Business plans are also designed for managing social accounts on behalf of many of your own users, with unlimited team members. LazyRelay has a public REST API, an MCP server for AI agents, a Node SDK and CLI (npm @lazyrelay/sdk) and an n8n node, but it is first a dashboard for people who schedule posts, not a white-label posting layer for other products.

Ayrshare's prices and features checked directly on ayrshare.com/pricing and ayrshare.com/docs, checked 2026-09-30. Rows can go stale as either product changes. If you spot one that's out of date, that's worth telling us.
The gap that actually matters: "sent" isn't "published"
An API call that returns success confirms the request was accepted, not that the post is visible to anyone. LazyRelay separately re-checks the platform after every post to confirm it's genuinely live. That's Proof-of-Publish, included on every LazyRelay plan including Free. We didn't find an equivalent check on Ayrshare's pricing or API pages.
The other real difference: who the product is for
Ayrshare's entry plan is $149/month for one social profile, which makes sense if you are embedding posting into software you sell. If you are a person, a small team or an agency scheduling your own posts, LazyRelay's Starter plan is $29.99/month for 20 accounts and 2 brands. If you do need programmatic access, LazyRelay offers a REST API, an MCP server for AI agents, a Node SDK and CLI, and an n8n node.
Pick Ayrshare if
- You are building social posting into your own product and want an API-first service with SDKs and multi-user profile management.
- You need X, Reddit, Snapchat, WhatsApp or Google Business Profile posting from one API.
Pick LazyRelay if
- You schedule posts yourself and don't need a white-label API layer, and $149/month for one profile is more than you want to pay.
- You want independent proof a post actually went live, not just "accepted."
- You post to Mastodon, Discord, Tumblr, WordPress, dev.to, Hashnode or Lemmy.
- You want a real free plan, no card required.

Is LazyRelay cheaper than Ayrshare?
For most people scheduling their own posts, yes. Ayrshare's Premium plan is $149/month for 1 social profile and up to 14 accounts, and Launch is $299/month. LazyRelay's Starter plan is $29.99/month for 20 accounts and 2 brands, and LazyRelay also has a $0 Free plan. Ayrshare is priced as an API service for building into other products, so the two are aimed at different jobs.
Does LazyRelay have an API like Ayrshare?
Yes. LazyRelay has a public REST API, an MCP server for AI agents, a Node SDK and CLI (npm @lazyrelay/sdk) and an n8n node. Ayrshare is API-first and sells multi-profile management for your own users on its Launch and Business plans. LazyRelay is primarily a scheduling dashboard that also exposes an API.
Does Ayrshare verify that a post actually went live, like LazyRelay's Proof-of-Publish?
Not that we found documented on ayrshare.com. LazyRelay's Proof-of-Publish independently re-checks each platform after publishing to confirm the post is genuinely live, on every plan including Free.
